What is the Cedar Tree Suicide Awareness & Prevention Workshop?
The Cedar Tree Suicide Awareness & Prevention Workshop is a compassionate and practical workshop is designed to build confidence in talking about suicide and supporting people who may be struggling.


Participants will develop a clearer understanding of suicide risk factors and warning signs, learn how to have safe, supportive conversations, and explore what to do if someone is in crisis.


Through discussion, real‑life scenarios, short videos and simple frameworks such as Suicide CPR, the training focuses on reducing stigma, encouraging open conversations, and helping people feel better equipped to guide others towards appropriate support.


The workshop also emphasises personal wellbeing, recognising the importance of looking after yourself while supporting others.


The Format   

  • Duration: 1 day
  • Venue: Face 2 Face or Online.     
  • Style: Live & interactive - Learning takes place through a mix of group activities, presentations, discussions and videos.

Miscellaneous

The Mental Health Awareness course can also be run over

2 half days or

4 evenings or
(weekends are also possible)

Each session is approximately 1 hours 

(depending on how involved group members participate and discussions. )
